It’s now 5 years since I arrived here and started the job you found for me in Dunedin, Otago. I am well settled in my job and have acquired many friends.
The children: Louisa is working as a consultant for a big firm for the whole island. Will you believe if I said she is holding the post on part time as she is still in Auckland Uni doing marketing. Amy is with us waiting for an opening in AU. Chris is In Otago Uni doing Law. Milly is finishing her final year in Year 13.
Jane is doing a part time job with the local Uni. (she is spending all her free time in the gym and looks 35 although she is 48.) It’s the weather and the food here that keeps us so young.
Also Janes’ parents have now emigrated to NZ. Sold up everything in UK and have arrived here as rich people They qualified to emigrate on the strength of our sponsorship and did not need to prove any income (although they had money).
