Hi Diane,
Sorry this is somewhat late but we just wanted to let you know that we arrived here safely! We collected our visas from New Zealand house on the 29th Dec and were on the plane 1st Jan! We arrived at Auckland on the afternoon of the 3rd somewhat knackered but very happy to have finally got here!
We managed to find rental accommodation and have been there 2 weeks now, it's about a 10min drive for me to get to work so substantially better than the 50mins it used to take!
The dog arrives on Friday 29th so it'll be back to the usual chaos then and hopefully our furniture etc should be here sometime in March (we have an air mattress & we have been very kindly loaned a fridge & some camping chairs), it'll be nice to finally get all our things back as they've been in storage since June!
Thank you so much for everything you've done for us over the last year or so, I don't think we'd have made it this far (or certainly not so smoothly) without you!
We'll make sure we send a pic once we're finally settled & sorted.
