Individuals with occupations on the Skilled Occupations List - Schedule 1 with a positive skills assessment from an authorised body and who meet the current pass mark of 65.
What it entitles you to:
Permanent Residence and the ability to settle anywhere in Australia.
Terms and Conditions:
Points are granted for age, English language ability, overseas employment, Australian employment, professional year, qualifications, Australian study, credentialed community language, studying and living in regional Australia and partner skills.
Further Information:
The normal age limit applies for principal applicants i.e. less than fifty years of age, but age points are not awarded after forty four years. You must also satisfy the other basic threshold criteria.

What it entitles you to:
Permanent Residence and settlement initially within the nominating state or territory.

Points are granted for age, English language ability, overseas employment, Australian employment, professional year, qualifications, Australian study, credentialed community language, studying and living in regional Australia and partner skills. Plus state/territory government nomination.

Who can apply:
Individuals with occupations on the Skilled Occupations List and a positive skills assessment from an authorised body and nomination for regional areas by a state or territory government or sponsorship by an eligible relative living in a designated area who meets the current pass of 65.
What it entitles you to:
Temporary Residence for three years in a regional area or designated area. Permanent residence is applied for on completion of two years residence with one years’ employment.

Points are granted for age, English language ability, overseas employment, Australian employment, professional year, qualifications, Australian study, credentialed community language, studying and living in regional Australia and partner skills. State/territory government nomination or sponsorship by an eligible relative.
