The following EOIs were selected from the pool for validation on 13 January 2010:
483 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
411 with job offer
72 without job offer
483 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above:
411 with job offer
72 without job offer
110 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled employment in New Zealand.
(A total of 593 EOIs were therefore selected)
Conclusion: Only 12% of applicants managed to achieve the selection point without a job offer. Thus, 88% of applicants needed a job offer to qualify. Clearly, getting a job is of paramount importance to your application, which is where our Jobsearch Programme is best placed to help.
The next selection will take place on Wednesday 24th January 2010.
